Payments
1 PAYMENTS
1.a Full payment must be received four weeks before the course starts, unless a payment plan has been agreed with Flourish Sussex in advance.
1.b We can not guarantee your place until full payment has been made, unless a payment plan has been agreed with Flourish Sussex in advance.
1.c If you wish to cancel within 4 weeks of the course start date you will not be entitled to a refund.
2 CANCELLATIONS BY YOU
2.a If you wish to cancel within 7 weeks of the course start date you will be entitled to a 50% refund, excluding your deposit.
2.b If you wish to cancel within 6 weeks of the course start date you will not be entitled to a refund.
2.c Cancellations must be emailed to Alicia at hello@flourishsussex.com
3 CANCELLATIONS BY US
3.a Please note that all courses have a minimum attendance and if this is not met classes will have to be cancelled and you will receive a refund.
3.b If we cancel a course we shall endeavour to give you at least one week’s notice.
3.c If a workshop or course is rescheduled for another date due to circumstances beyond Flourish Sussex control, students will be offered two different dates. Please note no refunds will be given.
4 NON-ATTENDANCE
4.a If you are unable to attend a class or classes due to illness, or for personal or professional reasons, you will not be entitled to a refund, extra tuition or to automatically transfer to another course.
4.b. If you are unable to attend a class, the place can not be transferred to another person.
5 ATTENDANCE
5.a If you are unable to complete a class or classes due to illness, or for personal or professional reasons, you will not be entitled to a refund.
6 COPYRIGHT
6a: All students can use photographs of their individual designs for prompting their services for weddings and events. For group installation including table set ups and large scale designs the florist must get permission to use the image from the other florists involved and credit the school when using the images for promoting for wedding and event services. Please note if students are planning on running workshops or courses images of large set ups, table styling and group displays made at Flourish Sussex Flower School can not be used to advertise their own businesses classes and courses. No work created at Flourish Sussex Flower School can be used to advertise students own workshops or courses.
7 COVID 19
7a: If you are displaying Covid symptoms including a persistent cough, high temperature or a loss of taste and smell we ask you not to attend your class. If you are booked onto a course we will transfer you over to another course at a later date. As of 2022 a transfer fee will be applied.
7b: In the event that the country is put into lockdown, regional or national we will give all students two alternate dates to transfer onto or kits will be provided and a private online tutorial so that students can create their arrangements in their home. Please note no refunds will be given if we are past the six week point and the country is put into lockdown. Only a transfer will be offered to students.
