The Floristry business course at Flourish Sussex Flower School is an online training programme, which helps all students to feel confident about each section of building a business. The programme has been designed to guide, nurture and inspire all florists to build a floristry business that suits their lifestyle.

Prior to the course you will sent a questionnaire where we will be able to establish the route of your business and we can identify the core of your business. We will evaluate the stage you at the moment and targets will be set. It doesn’t matter if you are an established florist or if you are at the very beginning of your career.

The online programme is a five week course where each week a series of modules are released covering all aspects of building a profitable and sustainable business. All modules are pre recorded and are either taught by Alicia or industry experts. The modules cover the following areas: Core of your business | Finding your Clients | Branding | Photography | Website building, using the Squarespace platform | Pricing-proposal writing, and pricing formula | Recipes | Running a Wedding | Sympathy Flowers | Instagram | Facebook | YouTube | Pinterest | Blogging | Canva | Workflow | Collaborations | Starting a Cutting Garden | How to tackle obstacles | Mindset | Interviews with past Flourish students who are now working in the industry.

Each module will represent a piece of the puzzle and once the five week programme is complete, all pieces will be in place for you to feel confident and ready to build your floristry business.

Before the course begins we will have a Zoom session where students can introduce themselves and Alicia will run through the course. Then we will have two schedule Zoom sessions for anyone that has any questions. Support is always on hand.

Once the course is complete you will be booked in for a power hour with Alicia via Zoom to work out your eighteen month strategy.
