Our two week intensive course is the combination of our courses to create this ultimate training programme: The Foundation and The Wedding course. The Two Week Career Course covers everything you will need to know practically to be able to launch your own floristry business. You will come away with a wealth of knowledge, creativity, confidence and you will have access to a network of florists and growers to help and support you on your journey. This course is ideal for anyone that wants to enter the floristry industry, to start their own business and wants to do their training all at one time.

Throughout the course of the two weeks we cover all the floristry skills you will require to know from basic to an advance level of floral designing. We very much encourage you from the get go to develop your own style early on. We will support and guide you so that you become confident to try out new designs and an array of colour palettes. You will work with an array of the most beautiful British grown flowers, as well as flowers from Holland.

We will teach you all the most popular displays in floristry, covering wedding work, funeral pieces, styling, photography, intricate floristry, plus we will work as a group to create large installations. All of the designs at the school are taught using sustainable methods of floristry.

As well as the practical work we also teach you the beginners guide to starting a business in floristry. We will teach you about pricing, running a wedding, tips to start social media and running through an auction. We recommend that you sign up to our online 10 week business programme, which will be launched early 2024, where we will cover the business side in much greater depth. As soon as you have finished the course you will become part of the Flourish community and you will be invited to become part of our private Facebook group where there is support, freelance work and industry updates.

Each student will be given a cut flower guide book on arrival, plus you will get a Flourish apron to keep. All ceramic vases*, meadow boxes are also included in the price of the course. Students will also get a business document emailed to them, with all the information we cover on the business sessions.

We start each day at 10.00am and conclude at 3.00pm. Times may vary for the large installations.
